The Ranch Occupants

Ryan- a Cowboy Casanova who works very hard each day to ensure the ranch family flourishes.  He grew up wearing boots and riding bulls but now he wears a tie and claims the iPhone as his top accessory.  He enjoys The Dallas Cowboys (excluding the days they lose), coaching PeeWee football, a good cup of Starbucks coffee, and fine wine.

Jenny- the Urban Cowgirl: she grew up around horses, sheep, and other livestock but couldn't wait to get to the big city.  She loves being a part of The Big D but also appreciates her small town background.  She gets excited about photography, fashion, shopping, running, blogging, traveling, and improving her nearly non-existent domestication skills.

Kade - an 11 year old sports fanatic, he spends his days reading, running, and throwing a ball.   He loves sugar, the NFL, and spending time with his friends who have dubbed him "KJ".  His favorite activities on the ranch include fishing, target shooting, riding his 4-wheeler, and taking out the trash (ha).

Devynn - a spunky little three year old with an unlimited amount of energy, she spends her days putting together puzzles, playing outdoors, and sneaking in cartoon time.  She has a deep admiration for her big brother and loves to spend time charming those who visit the ranch.

The Ranch Pets

T.J. - a white 136 lb. allergy-ridden German Shepherd who gets his glory from chasing the longhorns and playing with KJ.

Andy - a new addition to the family in summer 2010, he is a Dalmatian puppy with brown spots and snake eyes who enjoys chewing up anything he can get his paws on.

Frosty - a brown and white registered Longhorn cow who loves to eat treats right out of our hands.

Fannie Mae - the leader of the longhorns, she is a beautiful cow who is cautious and careful and enjoys hooking the dogs and dominating the other cows when it is time to eat.

Ginnie Mae - Fannie Mae's sweet little calf that was born in December 2009, she is growing up big just like her mama with a nice set of horns and a sweet disposition.

In memory

Newt - a 13 year-old liver-colored Dalmatian who lived the life of his dreams as "The Head of Ranch Security."  He currently resides up near the pond under a beautiful brown cross.
